The Evidence

Official documentation of the marathon "domination."

4:30am: Rise and shine!

The rain.... In the 32 year history of the marathon, this was only the second time it has rained.

My mother, just lovin' life, at Mile 23.

DONE and DONE! (And crying).

Such great pictures! CB has none to document his painful run -- it was unseasonably hot last Sat., and having trained all of 3.5 weeks, he was hurting. He ran it in 3 hrs, 37 mins -- last year (2007)it was 3:28, so really not too bad! I am sure he'll run again -- and train better next time. I think he is a glutton for punishment, but running saves his sanity, especially while he has had to work from home for so long.

Sis,

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't read the whole post but I know I watched you type it! :D I know you lost your last half-hour of the post but if you readded the thing about me being pushed off the track by that evil police officer then thank you!!! Anyone who reads this comment, I want to let you know what it feels like! Persuade someone to run a marathon, and at the last part of the race run with the person you know and you might get pulled off the road by a grumpy police officer. Hooray! Now you know what it feels like! Yeah, literally. I was pulled off! Curse him! I will forever want him to be cursed because he is not nice!!! End of story. Sorry, I overreact too much. Bye, sis!
Your favorite and only sister,
ABBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
